The media in Romania is a sensational force without which you cannot exist. Anamaria is a big believer in the idea that the media can lift you up, but it can also bring you down!

She thinks that the Romanian journalists have complex networks of sources and these sources help them be better informed, and the public persons can’t hide anything, so everything a public person does is exposed in the newspapers.

Anamaria Prodan admits that the media has helped her a lot and she is aware that having an image vital for a public person. She says "If you have no money but an image, you have won. Nobody knows about your bank account or how much money you have in your wallet. People see you and they call your name on the street. This means image. Being recognized by people on the street, in the store, at the market. Everywhere I go people call my name or stop me on the street. Sometimes they ask me about my little ones, about my husband or about my hair. And all this is due to the media!"
